Baked Sweet Potato Wedges

Recipe from: The American Cancer Society's "Celebrate! Healthy Entertaining for Any Occasion"

Serves: 8

Ingredients:
  • Cooking Spray
  • 4 large sweet potatoes, scrubbed, cut lengthwise into 3/4 inch wedges
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Dash of cayenne pepper (optional)

Cooking Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Lightly spray cooking spray on a baking dish or cast-iron skillet. Spray potato wedges with cooking spray and toss together with all the spices in a bowl.
3. Place potatoes in a single layer in the baking dish or skillet. Bake for 20 minutes. Turn over and bake an additional 20 minutes.
